Meet Our Pastors
Pastor Joe Mullarkey
Joe joined the staff in July 2012. Prior to Monroe, he served as a pastor in Nebraska City and Winterset, Iowa. He is married to Lori and they have four children: Lily, Eli, Chloe, and Zeke. He is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College with a degree in Youth Ministry and is currently finishing his MDiv at Pillar Seminary.
Joe is passionate about training up the next leaders of the church and the Old Testament. He oversees the overall teaching of the church and the youth ministry. He enjoys working out and other physical activities, listening and playing music, and spending time with his family.

Pastor Ben Jones
Ben joined the staff in January 2022. Prior to Monroe, he served in a variety of ministries as a pastor and missionary. He’s been married to Kim since 2006 and they have four children: Eoin, Eloise, Ephraim, and Emilia. He holds an MA in Contextual Leadership from Pillar Seminary.
Ben is passionate about helping the church to embrace the gospel of grace in Jesus and carry it to those around them. He oversees through encouragement many of the church’s ministries. He loves coffee, enjoys soccer, tennis, playing games, and traveling with his family.
